What we collect
When you visit. Our hosting platform counts page visits and records general browser and device information so we can see what people find useful. You can turn this page counting off below without losing access to the site. Necessary hosting and security logs may still be processed to run and protect the service. Our site code sets no cookies; it uses browser storage instead. We do not install Google Analytics, advertising pixels or third-party advertising trackers.
What the site keeps on your device. Browser storage holds your light or dark preference, your page-counting choice, a sign-in token if you use your library, the email address you typed at checkout, and which free prompts you have copied. Page counting can also use a browser-stored session identifier. These are not cookies. Preferences and copied-prompt markers are kept locally; your sign-in token is sent when needed to verify access, and your email is sent when you submit a purchase or access request. You can clear browser storage, but may need to sign in or set your preferences again.
When you contact us. The contact form stores your name, email address, topic and message privately for our administrators to handle your request. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to marketing.
When you subscribe to our updates. We store your email address, where you signed up and the signup date. You can use the unsubscribe link in an update, or contact us to stop updates. Messages needed to handle a purchase or a request are separate from marketing.
When you buy something. Where paid checkout is available, payments are processed by [PAYMENT PROVIDER], not through a card form stored by us. We do not store full card numbers. We keep your email, purchase contents, amount, currency, payment reference and status to provide access, handle refunds and keep records. Team purchases can also include a company name, tax identifier and teammate email addresses. Paid files may carry the buyer's email or company name as a licence notice. Free downloads and checkout-notification requests can also store your email and the resource requested; a notification request is not a payment.
If you use your library or create an account. Our hosting and authentication service handles sign-in details and access tokens. We link your email and, where applicable, account profile to purchases and team seats so you can access your resources. An account is optional; library links also verify access through your email.
When you use the Reviewer
Your submitted article is sent to the AI service used by our hosting platform to generate a review. Generated reports are stored to support access and sharing. If you enter an email to unlock the full report, the current flow also saves your article, report and email and adds the address to the updates list with a Reviewer signup source. You can unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Do not submit secrets, sensitive personal information or material you are not authorised to process.
Unlocking a full report can create a public shareable report. The shared version does not include your email, but can include quotations and rewrites from your article. Anyone with the report link can read it and pass it on. Only use this with content you are comfortable making public, and contact us if you need a shared report removed. We cannot remove copies someone else has already made.
Why we use information and who processes it
We use information to deliver resources, verify access, answer requests, process refunds, send requested updates, operate the Reviewer and prevent abuse. Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our agreement with you, legal record-keeping obligations, legitimate interests in operating a secure service, and consent where required for optional uses. You can withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Our hosting, storage, authentication and email services process information needed to run the site. AI providers process Reviewer submissions, and the payment provider processes payments when enabled. Loading externally hosted fonts or assets also sends technical request information, such as an IP address, to their providers; this is not advertising tracking. Providers may process data outside your country. We use safeguards required by applicable law for international transfers. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect rights and security.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or use it to build a profile of you. We do not run third-party trackers on this site.
How long we keep it
Purchase records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting, and access records while needed to provide your library. Contact messages are kept while we deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards. Updates-list entries are removed when you unsubscribe. Reviewer reports and submitted content may remain stored to provide the report or its shared link; access-token expiry is not automatic deletion of the report. Ask us to delete a report or shared link through the contact page. Security and abuse-prevention records are kept as needed to protect the service. Legal obligations or disputes may require longer retention.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will handle your request under applicable law, verifying your identity where needed. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to access a copy, restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. Some records must be retained for legal obligations; we will explain any limits rather than promise deletion we cannot lawfully carry out.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top and give additional notice of material changes where required.
